My English Club students participated in painting a beautiful Malaria Mural at the Middle School! They themselves organized what components were going to be on the mural, the colors, and design. This not only provided peer team work, leadership, but most importantly allowed youth to make something on their own from their own creative minds.
We decided to paint it at the Middle School since it is directly facing the Hospital, where the majority of patients go when they suffer from Malaria.
My students decided to divide the Mural in three parts, Malaria Symptoms, Malaria Prevention Methods, and Actions for the Future.
I am so proud of their hard work and dedication. They have truly invested their time and effort into this beautiful art piece!
